Electronic Fuel Injection
Full tune session. Initial startup, oil pressure and timing verification, warm-up, baseline incremental pulls, fuel table and ignition map refinement, full load tuning, acceleration enrichment, final verification pulls, and calibration file saved.
Carbureted Tune Day
Carburetor
Full tune session. Initial startup, base timing set, warm-up, incremental load pulls with AFR evaluation, jetting changes (provided by client), air correction adjustments, ignition timing optimization, repeat pulls, and final verification.
EFI Break-In + Tune
2-Day — Electronic Fuel Injection
Day 1: Setup, initial fire-up, 20–30 min elevated RPM cam break-in cycle, continuous oil pressure / temp / AFR monitoring, engine-off inspection, valve lash verification. Engine rests overnight. Day 2: Full EFI tune session through final verification pull.
Carb Break-In + Tune
2-Day — Carburetor
Day 1: Setup, initial fire-up, 20–30 min elevated RPM cam break-in cycle, continuous oil pressure / AFR monitoring, engine-off inspection, valve lash verification. Engine rests overnight. Day 2: Full carbureted tune session with jetting changes (provided by client) through final verification pull.
Dyno Time — No Tuning
Customer or third-party tuner operating. Setup fee applies. Minimum 2 hours.

Complete Engine Health Workup
Eight-point inspection across valve lash, leak-down, and compression performed at pre-dyno, post break-in, and post dyno intervals. Recommended on all break-in jobs. Extends the engagement across multiple days.

Scheduling & Conditions
Engine Ready Policy
Engine must arrive plumbed to a point where dyno connections can be made. The Dub Shop supplies the fuel system. ECU configuration is handled in-shop unless previously arranged. Customer may supply their own oil, or Driven Racing Oil is available.
Break-In Scheduling
All break-in jobs are scheduled across two days. Day 1 ends after the break-in cycle and inspection. Tuning begins Day 2 on a fully cooled engine.
Incomplete Sessions
Sessions ending early due to mechanical issues are billed at the setup fee plus hourly dyno time for active running time incurred.
Remote Tuning
Air-Cooled VW Remote Tune
Remote tuning sessions for air-cooled VW applications via TeamViewer. Includes datalog review, VE table and ignition map refinement, and follow-up support. Contact us to discuss your application and schedule a session.

Offsite Chassis Dyno Tuning
First Hour
Covers travel to the facility, vehicle strapping and dyno setup, and the first hour of on-site tuning time. Dyno rental included.
Each Additional Hour
Covers continued tuning time plus dyno rental. Most naturally aspirated air-cooled applications are completed within 2 hours total.
